I had a meeting with Kevin Skarritt from Acorn Creative last week about new ways to market my home. I was impressed by his knowledge of the internet and what to do. He formulated a plan to utilize all of the web has to offer. The market is changing and by using the traditional methods, as everyone does, puts me in the same boat as every other home for sale. We have implemented a strategy to get the word out regarding my home and all of the energy efficient things we have done. I am excited to not only sell my home, but to promote energy efficient technologies. At a time like this, we as a country need a plan.
Acorn Creative specializes branding and web strategies. He liked my concept so much of looking for non-traditional ways to market real estate, he started a new division at Acorn Creative that specializes in this very subject. Thank you Kevin for your guidence as we start this journey together.
I am thrilled about this new website to not only promote and sell my Lakes Region energy star certified home, but to let people know about the technologies that were used in the building my home. The market is changing in the way people sell their homes. I decided to do some research and find new and innovative ways to promote my home. I am having just as much fun talking about my geothermal home as I did building it. I am very passionate about this project and about the subject of energy efficiency when it comes to building. If all goes as planned, I may start another blog to talk about that as well.
Moving on. We will then pick another piece of land and do it all over again. Thank you for looking and enjoy my site. This site is not perfect, since I do not write for a living, it is just a way for me to communicate my experiences and love for building. I wanted to thank Matt Orio with Water & Energy Distributors, Inc. for all of his time and expertise in helping put get a geothermal heat pump system installed into my new home. He has been a great resource for me in developing this website. The results I have achieved using the system he designed has exceeded my expectations. He was spot on with this calculations not only in costs, but performance. I will put his design up against anyone’s in the market today.
