3rd Floor Office/TV Room

This room as actually an after thought.  When we were building, my wife asked the RJ at Independent Fine Home Builders, how much head room are we going to have in the attic.  He said none.  The way the house was designed, there would be no head room.  At that point, we asked him what would we have to do to get a room made.  He thought for a minute and said, if we could hand build the trusses, I can give you what you need.  We are very pleased with his solution because now we have an 800 SF room that we use as a second office during the day and a TV room at night.  Since this area of the house was conditioned anyway, it was an easy decision to finish this room.  We also put a half bath on this floor just in case one of our children wanted to use this as a bedroom in their teenage years.
